So it is awesome to read this now that it has paid off! The fact that you can actually see the difference in your form from the marathon picture to the treadmill picture is amazing. I'm looking forward to your post on hip strengthening exercises! Now that the Ironman is over I really want to focus more on strength so I can be stronger and run faster!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15351579053400057634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2659111169994174275.post-48584134520406506042014-10-13T14:20:40.357-05:002014-10-13T14:20:40.357-05:00Best. I like many things about you, but one of the things I like a whole bunch is that you're really effin smart and take such a healthy, long-term look at your running career. Taking care of right side business surely was frustrating for you, but dayyyyyyyum. Pictures speak for themselves. So proud of you. I agree. Haha

I look at you and Declan and a few select others as proof that PT works. The patience you practiced has led you to chase a possible crazy PR this weekend. I'm inspired! It's funny you mention how you run less miles to get in your PT stuff. I've been doing the same when I'm crunched for time :) I'll sacrifice stationary bike minutes to make sure I get in all my PT stuff. Priorities!!! Hope to see you out on the path soon too- but I'll see ya Sunday around mile 23 kicking major butt! :)Xaarlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12846036242883194347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2659111169994174275.post-46021876898822018532014-10-08T19:48:17.409-05:002014-10-08T19:48:17.409-05:00Since I've got 2 requests I feel compelled to ...Since I've got 2 requests I feel compelled to do a post with all the exercises I do now :)

This winter will be perfect for your reset and hip/core strengthening.

I hope the marathon goes well for you! Anyway, I'm super stoked that you are all healed up and lots stronger than you were. I credit my PT for where I am now. I don't want to go back so I try and keep my strength sessions up, despite the fact that I could be spending the time running more miles. The old me would never think of sacrificing running for strength building, but I'd probably be back in "injury jail" if I didn't. Yes, your main goal is to stay healthy! Here's to many, many years ahead of running strong. Hope to see you on the trails soon! :)Pete Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09655789227670205830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2659111169994174275.post-11218902430138452432014-10-08T14:36:59.953-05:002014-10-08T14:36:59.953-05:00I would love for you to share some of your favorit...I would love for you to share some of your favorite / most beneficial hip exercises.
