I was doing the run/walk thing and timed my walks to occur during the uphills. Needless to say after doing this during the Newton Hills, I felt pretty fresh after cresting Heartbreak. So I say walk up the hills if you feel like it. It won't cost too much time and will definitely help you to run the downhills and flats with more pep in your step. Nice work on your 6x800's - it's always good to leave a workout feeling like you could have done a little more!
