I haven't trained with sugar in a long time. I did my 100k ride and the only carbs I over those 4.5 hours were from a single banana. Otherwise I ate salty things like salted peanuts. I did fine. I wish I could go back in time to some of my marathons and yank the Gus away from myself. I probably would have done better since among other things I would've been less nauseous over the last half.
