Looks like we had to recover from our hips at the same time. I guess you could say we are joined by the hip. There are a lot of bloggers out there recovering from hip injuries this year.

P.S. And wow, those green people are crazy, I can't imagine running with such a giant afro, seems like it'd get caught in the wind.

I am always surprised at how well cross training can carry over to running. I experienced this last year when I started running again after 5 months off running.Neon Blonde Runnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16782863353830958219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2659111169994174275.post-80219682067366056472012-03-27T08:58:30.723-05:002012-03-27T08:58:30.723-05:00Congrats on your well deserved PR! It'll help you run with a purpose, and girl you will blow all of your expectations out of the water once you are able to get back at it again. Loved your outfit too!

Stupid question, what does it mean when Garmin is on manual lap? I don't understand the difference between this and auto lap? Does manual mean that it doesn't beep until you press the lap button? You would think that I would know the answer to this because I've had my Garmin for a year and a half but me and technology, we are quite the pair.Britt @ Chicago Runner Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15628838959053342745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2659111169994174275.post-43021408785837309662012-03-27T08:32:59.627-05:002012-03-27T08:32:59.627-05:00Congrats on the PR!Congrats on the PR!Kelly @ Running Kellometershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15261285599296693612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2659111169994174275.post-21792806528097331952012-03-27T07:35:11.156-05:002012-03-27T07:35:11.156-05:00Wow, way to keep up your fitness, girl. What an inspiring race report.

As the official Green Girl, I must say I love love love your outfit - hello you rocked the green.

Yeah, LA Marathon was not on my 'to do' list either. I'm not a fan of huge races but when the Angel Runners said they were going to train for their first marathon and come out to LA, how could a girl say no?

My only complaint about the race was the lack of food but the spectators more than made up for it. I've never seen a race so well supported by the 'public'. We munched on orange slices, candy, pretzels, you name it - all from friendly people supporting the race. The Green Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02319714826599995511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2659111169994174275.post-14151355539202471712012-03-26T21:53:02.885-05:002012-03-26T21:53:02.885-05:00Awesome!
