Goals

Goals for the 2011 season


1. Remain uninjured
2. Eat healthier
3. Lose 10-15lbs
4. More strength/ core training

5. Complete a triathalon


Race goals:

5k- less than 23 min

1/2 marathon- less than 1:50.00

Full Marathon- Qualify for Boston (less than 3:40.59)

Pre-training

Did 2 miles and 100 crunches at the gym yesterday. Really felt the burn.


Did 2 miles, 100 crunches, 10x3 leg extensions and 10X3 leg curls at the gym. Felt much better. Need to keep increasing the mileage and weight lifting in order to get in good shape. Currently, I am making a huge effort to eat very healthy (minus my 1 dunkin donut in the morning).

Feeling good and might go back to the gym for a few more miles and some arms. Also did 8 minutes of the Nike Training app. I need to look at all of the exercises beforehand so it will be more fluid in the future.

Break

Have been on rest/ laziness since the marathon. Will resume training in a week. Need to get in shape for the Chicago Marathon. I hope to qualify for Boston with Chicago. I have a long way to go!
